As a multi disciplinary practice, SLR employs a wide range of technical specialists, each of whom works in a recognised technical discipline team.  The teams are led by experienced professionals who are responsible for technical standards, training and career development.

Notwithstanding this structure, SLR's basic philosphy is of collaborative working and technical discipline teams mix within SLR's offices to provide a stimulating and supportive environment where, for instance, a civil engineer can consult regularly with a landscape architect or ecologist on potential issues associated with an engineering project.
